Privacy Policy

Plain-English summary
Every calculator on this site runs in your browser. We do not have a database of users, do not store the equations or numbers you enter, and do not require sign-up. The only data we knowingly collect is anonymized aggregate analytics about which pages are popular, and revenue-share information from advertising partners.
1. Who we are
This website (mathssolving.com) is operated by the team behind Maths Solving. For privacy questions, contact info@mathssolving.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: If you email us, we receive your message and email address. We retain that correspondence only as long as necessary to handle your request.
Calculator inputs: The numbers, equations, datasets, matrices, and expressions you type into the calculators are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored anywhere. The Practice Mode tool does store your level and streak in your browser's local storage; clearing your browser storage removes it.
Server logs: Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs containing your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested. These logs are used for security and debugging and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Cookies and similar technologies: The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party services we use (analytics and advertising) may set cookies — see the relevant sections below and the cookie policy.
3. Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count anonymous page views and measure performance. The service does not use cookies that identify you and does not collect personally identifiable information. The data we receive is aggregate (e.g., "12,345 visits to the equation solver yesterday").
4. Advertising
We display advertising provided by third-party networks, including Google AdSense and similar partners. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads, frequency-cap repeated ads, and measure ad performance. They operate under their own privacy policies, which you can find on their websites:
- Google: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
5. Children
Our calculators are useful for parents and educators working with children, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)
If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive privacy laws, you have rights regarding any personal data we hold about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts and do not collect calculator inputs, the personal data we hold about most visitors is limited to short-term server logs and any email correspondence you have initiated.
To exercise your rights — including access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing — email us at info@mathssolving.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days.
7. International transfers
Our hosting provider may serve the site from data centres outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards required by applicable law.
8. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We minimise the amount of data we collect, which is the most effective security measure available. No data system is perfectly secure, but the absence of a user database significantly reduces our risk surface.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, law, or our advertising partners. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 30 days.
